News you can use: Here is a comprehensive story in the Jackson Hole Daily that explains the Forest Service parcel price increase I noted Thursday.

Real estate facts:

  • PENDING/PRICE CHANGE: Another Rafter J lot on King Eider is under contract, list at $249K for .13-acre building site. The activity seems to have spurred price increases on the 7 remaining lots in this “new” corner of the subdivision, which now range from $259,500 to $283,500.
  • NEW: 4-bed single-family home in Aspens (near Teton Pines) for $1.7 million. Built in 1973 but completely remodeled in 2005.
  • I am at the Teton Mountain Lodge sales desk in Teton Village today until 1 pm. Stop in!
