Sleeping Indian is best seen from near the Jackson Hole airport or from Teton Village. this was taken Saturday from the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

That’s Sheep Mountain, also known as the Sleeping Indian, in the Gros Ventre Mountains on the east side of Jackson Hole. This was taken from Teton Village last weekend before taking a few runs at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

This picture was taken from the north side of High School Butte last week while shooting commercial real estate photos of a property in West Jackson.

In the foreground is Poodle Ranch. Beyond Highway 22 are the ranches of Spring Gulch with West Gros Ventre Butte and the snow-capped Tetons in the background.
